Planning: Calendar

In the last lesson i spent an hour and a half completing a calendar for organisational purposes on the Apple Mac software called 'Seltex'. The reasoning behind completing the calendar, is so that we as a group then knew which days we had to complete specific tasks such as; filming of the music video, completing blog posts, producing podcasts est. The screenshots below will show dates filled in on the calendar and what we plan to achieve on the aforementioned dates.

The two screenshots above are of the dates November and December in calendar form. Within the two months you will see that a number of dates have been filled in with information on what we plan to do on those days. To see specific information on what we plan to do on the individual days, you can click on a date and a separate box will appear, with a paragraph written by myself which explains the plans in full on what we as group wish to get done on that day.

The nine above print screens are each showing the different dates in which we are planning to film between the dates of November and December. Each screen shows the precise date and time of when we are planning to do the specific work which links in with our media coursework. This work could be anything from; filming our music video, completing podcasts and writing up blog posts like this. Furthermore at the bottom of the calendar pop up, there is a box in which you can write a quite detailed description on what you plan to do during that day, how you are going to accomplish it and how many members of your group are taking part. This calendar devise is a great tool when completing coursework as a group because it helps us keep on task of what we're are doing and also means we can  delegate separate jobs fairly to all four group members fairly.
